Во всплывающем окне вам вместо "Использование отладчика gdb" надо выбрать gdb server или что-то в этом роде. Тогда появится возможность выбрать проект для отладки и указать адрес gdb-сервера.

Возможно у вас плагин gdbserver не установлен. Проверьте это.

Ну если не работает на 7.4 тогда можно либо подождать пока заработает, либо откатиться на 7.3.1, либо использовать сторонние средства отладки, например, отлаживаться непосредственно в gdb.
